Grah!

I love the animation, the art, the style, it's all great!!

And I want to punch that guy in the nuts lol.

The BLINKING!!...the blinking....

Hey, blinking is great and it's something that most animators miss all the time... but I think your character's blink just a tad bit too much.

Otherwise, good job! :D

Nice!

Despite the fact that you worked in Flash 5, you did a great job portraying character depth, perception, and cinematic quality. The only downside to your animation was your lip-syncing. The faces of your characters bothered me a bit but not enough to be too much of a downside.

Next time you lip-sync, video yourself or another person saying the lines from your animation for reference.

Death to Fred!

Awesome graphics, animation, and fricken awesome idea! Cool sound choice too.

Wow! ^_^

I really like this! Even though your character is a stick figure, you gave him lots of personality. Your animation was nice and smooth.
Looking forward to seeing the continuation!

Pretty good...

The animation is pretty good and your character has some depth to it. However some of your actions are not accurately synced with your music.

Sandling responds:

Really? I'll have to look in to that... Thanks for the constructive critisism.

Kids or teenagers?

I'll have to agree with Roserend.
I couldn't help, but look down to the author comments before the movie was even over, mostly because I was confused/anxious of what was to happen. The kid smoking just totally threw me off. I understand how media effects teenagers in the aspect of drugs and smoking... but children? If you meant "kids" as in teenagers, I'd say it'd be better putting the character in a situation a normal teenager would be found in. I don't know that many teenagers that play with toy cars on the ground. That's normally seen as kids 8 or younger.

Going past the meaning, lets go to the art. It was simplistic, however it flowed well with the mood you were trying to convey.

AdrianZiller responds:

Good! We should be confused/ anxious about the way we raise kids today. That's kinda the point. As for your thought about teenagers vs kids, don't you think it is during the early development stages that these seeds are planted? Just last week i saw a one and a half year old girl pick up a cigarette that was lying around and pretend to smoke it!

Mmmm sticky

Despite the fact that this was stick figure art, you showed emotion and weight with your piece. Keep doing this and transfer it to your other animations. You'll turn out a star!

Boring and vulgar.

The art is very basic. Your characters barely move save for their mouths and they never blink. You are coming along well on your lip-sinking however.

Yet I got pretty bored within 45 seconds of watching your video. This could be prevented by giving your characters more detail and having them move around. Also another way to improve is different camera angles.

The story is very vulgar and would only be entertaining for those who enjoy such things. I like vulgar humor every once and a while, but 24/7 throughout the entire movie? Mmm, maybe not. However, don't let this stop you if you are working to only entertain an audience that loves vulgar movies with zero artistic or cinematic qualities.

sodahawk responds:

i will try and add some blinking for the next one. also some shading or something. the lipsyncing i did less of this time as i just made a random mouth sequence and then here and there added different mouths but this made it much easier to do they syncing.
